Arbor Day Celebration

The Avalon Garden Club Arbor Day Celebration is scheduled for Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10:30 AM near 40th and 41st streets at Dune Drive. In recognition of the Garden Club's 50th anniversary, the club plans to plant a multi-stem river birch tree, with remarks from a member of the Environmental Commission and Tree Commission. In case of inclement weather, the event moves to the 39th Street Tennis Building.
