About Birding Cape May Point
Birding Cape May Point is a Cape May Bird Observatory program led by New Jersey Audubon naturalists at Cape May Point State Park and nearby Cape May Point birding locations. The 2026 schedule includes multiple Saturday outings during the winter, spring, and summer seasons, with walks generally lasting about two hours. Participants look for ducks, loons, scoters, songbirds, shorebirds, terns, raptors, and other seasonal wildlife while exploring the park, dunes, ponds, woods, streets, feeders, and nearby Northwood Center area. Preregistration is required, and the listed cost is $8 for members and $12 for nonmembers.
