Cape May Point Beach Patrol Lifeguard Tryouts

Cape May Point Beach Patrol lifeguard tryouts are scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026. Candidates report at 9:00 AM to the Borough Building at the base of the lighthouse, and testing and interviews are usually completed by about 1:00 PM. Applicants should bring a towel, water or sports drink, a sweatshirt, and running shoes for the mile run up and down Lighthouse Avenue. Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the time they sit on a stand.
