Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol Lifeguard in Training Program

The Harvey Cedars Beach Patrol Lifeguard in Training Program runs from June 22 through August 7, 2026 in Harvey Cedars, with trainees meeting at the Salem Avenue beach and drop-off and pickup at Sunset Park. The program is open to ages 10 through 15, with older trainees meeting Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and younger trainees meeting Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The program includes lifeguard-skills instruction, beach and ocean safety, fitness, and opportunities to compete in local LIT tournaments. Registration is limited and fees apply.
