What to know
The Margate Duck Derby is scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Amherst Avenue and the bay near Washington Avenue and Scott's Dock. Numbered rubber ducks are released into the bay for a floating race, with prizes connected to winning duck numbers. Sponsored by Margate Wine and Gardens, the event is a lighthearted bayfront fundraiser and community celebration. Participants should check Margate Has More for duck adoption, prize details, schedule, and viewing information.
