Ortley Beach Kids Bodyboarding Camps

Toms River Recreation and Coastline Adventures offer four-session Kids Bodyboarding Camps at 3rd Avenue in Ortley Beach. The 2026 sessions are scheduled for July 6 through July 9 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, July 27 through July 30 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, August 10 through August 13 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and August 24 through August 27 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The camp is for ages 6 to 12, participants must know how to swim, and the posted fee is $260 per person per session with equipment provided. Activities include warm-up and yoga, wave riding and wave selection, board handling, beach and water games, ocean safety, and nature exploration. Participants meet on the boardwalk near the surf van and use the public lot at 3rd Avenue. The rain date is the Friday of each scheduled camp.
