What to know
Restoring Battery Gunnison and New Battery Peck is a preservation and interpretation program at Battery Gunnison on Sandy Hook. Members of the Army Ground Forces Association continue work on the World War II-era coastal defense battery while visitors can observe the restoration and ask questions about Fort Hancock's military history.
