Ship Bottom Beach Patrol Lifeguard in Training Program

The Ship Bottom Beach Patrol Lifeguard in Training Program runs during the 2026 summer season for children ages 10 to 15. The program introduces participants to lifeguard responsibilities, rescue techniques, water safety, ocean swimming, fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork, and beach patrol traditions. The 10-to-12-year-old group runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 30 through August 6, and the 13-to-15-year-old group runs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from June 29 through August 7, with morning and afternoon session options. Applications closed May 8, fees apply, and space is limited.
