The Strathmere Fishing and Environmental Club Kids Fishing Tournament is an annual youth fishing event traditionally held on a late-summer Saturday in Strathmere. Children and families fish from the beach, with club volunteers providing a friendly, educational, catch-and-release style environment for young anglers. The 2026 date should be confirmed with the Strathmere Fishing and Environmental Club before publication, but the event is a recurring Strathmere community tradition tied to the club's environmental and fishing mission.
