What to know
Sunday Nap with the Seals is a National Park Service winter wildlife program at Fort Hancock. The event begins at the Fort Hancock Museum in Building 28 with a ranger presentation about harbor seals, their winter behavior, diet, and Sandy Hook habitat, followed by a bayside viewing opportunity. The program is free, scheduled for January 4 at 2:00 PM, and participants should dress warmly; binoculars may be helpful and availability is limited.
