Surf City Beach Patrol Lifeguard Tryouts and Training

Surf City Beach Patrol lifeguard tryouts and training are scheduled for Saturday, May 23. New applicants and returning guards report at 9:00 AM to the Lifeguard Garage at 813 Long Beach Boulevard before the swim test at 6th Street and the bay. CPR training is scheduled for 11:00 AM at the Lifeguard Garage, followed by AFA training at 1:00 PM. Applicants should be at least 16 years old and must meet the patrol's posted swim and training requirements.
