Wildwoods International Kite Festival

The Wildwoods International Kite Festival celebrates 40 years in 2026 with a long Memorial Day weekend of kite flying on the beach at Rio Grande Avenue and indoor events at the Wildwoods Convention Center. The festival begins Friday at noon outside the Convention Center and includes the Kite Sales Tent, a Friday night illuminated kite fly, auctions, large inflatable kites, team flying, family games, and a World Indoor Kite Exhibition on Monday. The event is free for spectators and is one of Wildwood’s signature beachfront traditions.
