Parking in Brigantine

Brigantine provides five permit-controlled oceanfront parking lots plus legal public street parking. A lot permit is useful for direct beach access, but it does not reserve a space.

Official Beach Parking Lots

Permit parking is available at:

• Roosevelt Boulevard and Brigantine Avenue
• 16th Street and Ocean Avenue
• 26th Street and Ocean Avenue
• 34th Street and Ocean Avenue
• 38th Street and Ocean Avenue

A daily permit is valid in any of these five lots, subject to availability. The lots are first come, first served, and the city does not refund the permit fee when a preferred lot is full.

How to Buy a Daily Permit

1. Find an available space in one of the official beach lots.
2. Open ParkMobile or follow the instructions on the posted sign.
3. Enter zone 88203.
4. Confirm the correct license plate and complete the $10 purchase.

Purchase only after finding a space because payment is not a reservation.

How to Buy a Seasonal Permit

Search for City of Brigantine in ParkMobile rather than entering the daily zone number. The 2026 seasonal permit costs $30. It authorizes parking in the listed lots but does not guarantee availability.

Street Parking

Legal street parking outside the permit-controlled lots does not require a beach-lot permit. Read signs for time limits, no-parking areas, accessible spaces and temporary event restrictions. Private business parking remains reserved for authorized users.

Accessible Parking

Use marked accessible spaces with a valid placard or plate. When a space is inside a permit-controlled oceanfront lot, follow the posted permit instructions or confirm the requirement with the Beach Fee Office.

Boats and Trailers

• Street parking for boats and trailers is prohibited from October 1 through May 1.
• From May 1 through September 30, they may be parked only in front of the owner’s or lessee’s property, subject to other rules.
• Boats and trailers may not be parked on Ocean Avenue at any time.
