Denise Whalen Carey Crab Race

The Denise Whalen Carey Crab Race is scheduled at Breakwater Beach Waterpark in Seaside Heights on Saturday, August 22 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The annual fundraiser honors former Breakwater Beach manager Denise Whalen Carey and supports Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Guests may purchase plastic crabs beginning August 1, with crabs racing down Patriot's Plunge into the Revolutionary River. Crab entries are listed at $5 in person or $5.50 online, prizes are awarded to winning crabs, and waterpark admission is not included with the donation.
