Dog Day Road Race XLVII

Dog Day Road Race XLVII is scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026 at 9:00 AM in Harvey Cedars. Hosted by High Point Volunteer Fire Company, the 5-mile run and walk travels through Harvey Cedars on Long Beach Island and supports the all-volunteer fire company. The race originated in 1979 as a community fundraiser and is named for the hot dog days of summer. Cash prizes are awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, and participants should check the official race page for registration, packet pickup, start location, fees, shirts, awards, sponsorships, and weather policies.
