Simon's Heart of a Champion 5K Run/Walk

Simon's Heart of a Champion 5K Run/Walk is a certified, flat 5K course through Surf City streets that starts and finishes at the Surf City Firehouse at 713 Long Beach Boulevard. The race begins at 8:00 AM and benefits the Simon J. Mariani Foundation and Surf City Volunteer Fire Company & EMS. Race-weekend packet pickup is scheduled for Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and race-day pickup begins at 6:00 AM at the firehouse. Participants registered by April 1 are eligible for race shirts, finishers receive medals, and awards are planned for top overall male and female finishers and age-group winners.
