Spermaceti Cove No. 2 Life-Saving Service Station Open House

The Spermaceti Cove No. 2 Life-Saving Service Station Open House gives visitors a chance to explore the restored historic life-saving station on Sandy Hook. The 2026 schedule lists the station open on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from May 21 through July 31, generally from noon to 4:00 PM. The program is free and supported by the Sandy Hook Foundation, with visitors able to learn about the U.S. Life-Saving Service and the coastal rescue history of Sandy Hook.
