Stairway to the Stars Lighthouse Climbs are Cape May MAC evening climbs at the Cape May Lighthouse during new-moon periods, when the night sky is darkest and stars and constellations are easier to see. Verified 2026 dates include September 10 and October 10, with additional seasonal dates listed by Cape May MAC. Guests climb 199 steps to the watch gallery, and adult and child tickets are required. Binoculars are permitted if securely worn.
