Thursdays at Surfside

Thursdays at Surfside is Avalon's free summer concert series at Surfside Park, 29th Street and Avalon Avenue. The 2026 season runs Thursday evenings from June 25 through September 3 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with performers including Yellow Brick Joel, American Soul Band, BIG HIX, Best of the Eagles, Don Jovi, Damn the Torpedoes, 80's Revolution, Chi-Town Transit Authority, AM GOLD, Johnny Folsom 4, and BOSTYX. Concerts move to Avalon Community Hall in inclement weather.
