We write for travelers first

Every guide, event, listing, and local brief should help someone make a real trip decision. We favor direct answers, practical details, and local context over filler written only to match a search phrase.

Research and review

Time-sensitive details should be checked against a municipality, public agency, venue, organizer, business, or another authoritative source. Published editorial work requires a named contributor and human review. We show meaningful published, updated, or verified dates when the underlying record supports them.

Local news briefs

Our news product is a traveler-facing brief, not headline aggregation. A brief explains what changed, who may be affected, relevant dates and locations, and what a visitor should do next. We attribute and link to the original source instead of republishing its work.

Automation

Automation may help find leads, organize source material, identify stale records, or prepare a draft for review. It does not approve publication. A person must review every published guide or news brief for usefulness, accuracy, attribution, and tone.

Advertising and affiliate links

Paid placements are labeled and kept separate from independent editorial ordering. Sponsored links use appropriate relationship attributes. Payment does not buy a place in an independent “best” list or change our editorial judgment.

Updates and corrections

We update material when facts change, not simply to make a page appear fresh. If you find an error, use our corrections process.
